Hello From Our New OLLI Director, Kristen Gates

I am honored and excited to introduce myself as the new Director of the Osher Lifelong Learning Institute (OLLI) at UC Davis! As someone deeply committed to lifelong learning and community engagement, I look forward to working with you to continue OLLI’s legacy of curiosity, discovery, and connection.

With a background in faculty engagement and academic program leadership, I have spent my career fostering dynamic learning environments that empower both educators and students. My passion lies in creating meaningful, accessible, and innovative educational experiences—values that are at the heart of OLLI’s mission.

As we look ahead, I’m eager to hear from you! Whether you’re a longtime OLLI member or just beginning your journey with us, your insights and ideas are invaluable. 

Together, we will explore new ways to expand our offerings, strengthen our community, and ensure OLLI continues to be a welcoming space for intellectual exploration and social connection.
