The Michael and Sheila Lewis Scholarship in Brewing is a merit-based award that recognizes academic and professional success in the brewing industry, supporting a new generation of brewers.
Applications will open winter 2024. The winner will receive a partial scholarship to the in-person UC Davis Master Brewers Certificate Program in 2025.
The scholarship is funded by a $100,000 endowment created by Dr. Michael J. Lewis, founder of the UC Davis Master Brewers Certificate Program, and his family. Full scholarships are planned as the endowment matures. Scholarship winners will be known as Lewis Scholars.
