Winery Safety
Like any other industry, workplace and safety accidents occur in the wine industry; committing to health and safety is one of the best ways for a winery to protect its most valuable resource–– its people. In doing so, employers can create a better work environment, retain valued workers, increase morale and improve productivity. Through online lectures and live discussions, this course offers practical tools and an understanding of the most common safety concerns in the industry. By the end of the class, you will be able to identify specific hazards faced by workers in the field, eliminate these hazards or reduce their impact and develop detailed procedures for performing tasks safely.
