Rebecca Boxer

Rebecca Boxer is a geriatrician caring for older adults with multiple chronic conditions, functional decline, dementia and frailty. She has broad research interests including heart failure disease management, nursing home care, polypharmacy and social determinants of health. In addition to her work at the UC Davis Healthy Aging clinic, she conducts pragmatic clinical trials and collaborated with investigators in multiple disciplines.

Katren Tyler, M.D.

Katren Tyler, M.D. is the director of the UC Davis Healthy Aging Education Series and vice chair for Geriatric Emergency Medicine and Wellness in the Department of Emergency Medicine at UC Davis. She also serves as a clinical professor in Emergency Medicine, is the medical director for Physician Wellness and the senior emergency care unit physician lead. Her research and academic interests mirror her clinical interests, with a focus on the care of older adults in the emergency department, physician wellness and airway management.
