Protective Clothing

Learn about the regulations and standards regarding personal protective equipment, limitations on use, the different types of chemical protective clothing and use of chemical compatibility charts. Other topics include eye, face, hand, foot, head and hearing protection, protective clothing decontamination and protective clothing for working with biohazards. This class is particularly helpful to anyone responsible for a personal protective equipment program. This is an elective course for the Workplace Health and Safety Certificate Program.

Note: This class will not include the topic of respiratory protection, which is covered in the Respiratory Protection course.
