Principles of Supervision and Management
New leaders require a fundamental understanding of leadership techniques in order to successfully transition to a leadership role. This course is designed for leaders to gain an understanding of how to be a successful supervisor or manager beyond the technical skills. In this half-day training course, you will identify your own leadership style, and explore and improve upon your core skills. Acquire the techniques to enhance your ability to lead by understanding what changes you must make to transition to your supervisory or management role. Learn to think like a supervisor and manager in terms of making judgement calls and decisions, and to set and communicate expectations. By the end of this course, you will be ready to better manage priorities and create a culture of accountability.
